Stop Birds Nesting Under Your Panels
Pigeons love the shade and shelter under rooftop solar panels. The nests, droppings and noise damage the roof, stain the panels and keep coming back.
We clean out the nesting material and droppings, sanitize the area, and install PVC-coated steel mesh around the array with clips made for solar panels, so nothing is drilled into the panels. We clean the panels when we finish.

How It Works
1. Inspect
We look at the array, access points and how much nesting there is.
2. Clean out
Nests, droppings and debris are removed and the area is sanitized.
3. Install mesh
PVC-coated steel mesh is fitted around the array with solar-safe clips.
4. Clean the panels
We finish with a pure-water panel cleaning.
Good to Know Before We Start
We put this in writing on every estimate so there are no surprises.
- Removed waste is bagged and put in your trash bins. Off-site hauling is not included.
- Panel, roof, electrical and structural repairs are not included.
- Live animals, protected wildlife and eggs may need a specialty service. We do not disturb protected nests.
- Mesh and spikes stop birds where they are installed. Bird activity elsewhere on the property may continue.
- Bird proofing is a deterrent. No mesh, spikes or netting can guarantee birds will never return or land elsewhere.
- Existing bird damage, roof damage and panel damage are not covered unless included in your quote.

Solar Bird Proofing FAQ
Will the mesh damage my panels?
No. We use clips made for solar panels, so nothing is drilled into the panels or their frames.
What happens to the nests and droppings?
We remove them, bag them and put them in your trash bins, then sanitize the area.
Do you clean the panels too?
Yes. A solar panel cleaning is included after the mesh is installed.
Will birds stop coming completely?
The mesh keeps them out from under the panels, but no bird-proofing system can guarantee zero bird activity. Birds may still land or move to other parts of the roof, and covering those areas is a separate quote.
