Lighting That Works With the Character of Your Home

Govee Permanent Light Installation in Orange
Permanent outdoor lighting gives Orange homeowners a practical alternative to seasonal light strands that have to be installed, removed, and stored every year. A properly planned Govee system can stay in place while allowing you to change colors, scenes, and schedules for holidays, gatherings, or ordinary evenings.
Foothill Pressure Washing installs Govee permanent lighting with careful attention to the way each home is built. We look at rooflines, fascia, soffits, eaves, corners, visible elevations, and power access before deciding how the system should be laid out. That preparation helps the lighting follow the architecture instead of appearing loosely attached to it.
Orange has a mix of established neighborhoods, newer homes, and properties with very different exterior designs. We account for those differences during planning so the installation suits the house and provides a clean, consistent appearance once the lights are operating.
How It Works and What It Costs
- You buy the lights. You purchase your Govee kit directly, so the receipt and manufacturer warranty are in your name. Lights are not included in our pricing.
- Three install options. A basic install with Govee clips and adhesive plus screws where needed, a 1×2 trim board install, or a powder-coated aluminum track install in 10 colors.
- Per-foot pricing. Installation is $8 per foot for a single-story home and $10 per foot for a two-story home or intricate roofline. Optional trim board is $3 per 8-foot board, billed in 8-foot increments. Optional aluminum track is $4.50 per foot and requires a non-refundable deposit for the full cost of the track.
- 2-year workmanship guarantee on our installation. The lights are covered by Govee’s warranty.

Smart Lighting for Holidays, Evenings, and Everything In Between
Permanent lighting does more than replace holiday decorations. Once a Govee system is installed, you can change the look of your home without climbing a ladder or running new strands across the roof.
Depending on the product, Govee systems can provide RGB lighting, white-light settings, programmable scenes, schedules, app control, and selected smart-home features. Certain Pro systems also support approved cutting and waterproof splicing, which can be useful when a home's layout requires a more customized installation.
The features available depend on the exact model. We take those specifications into consideration from the beginning rather than assuming every Govee system should be installed in exactly the same way.
What Your Lighting System Can Do
Seasonal Displays
Switch between different colors and effects for holidays, celebrations, and special events without changing the physical installation.
Everyday Accent Lighting
Choose a softer setting for evenings when you want the home illuminated without a full decorative display.
Smart Control
Compatible systems can be managed through the Govee Home app, with additional smart-home integration available on selected products.
Outdoor Use
Govee permanent lighting systems are designed for exterior applications when installed and operated according to their product requirements.
Different Product Configurations
Govee offers several permanent lighting options, each with its own capabilities and limitations for brightness, white-light modes, cutting, splicing, and connectivity.
Our Installation Approach
EVERY INSTALLATION STARTS WITH THE PROPERTY
1. We Assess the Roofline
We first examine the visible roofline, eaves, fascia, soffits, corners, and architectural features. We also identify power access points so the proposed layout makes sense before any lights are mounted.
2. We Establish the Lighting Path
We determine how the system should travel across the home and where individual runs should start, stop, or change direction. This is especially important where the roofline has multiple sections or architectural breaks.
3. We Prepare for Consistent Mounting
The mounting method is selected according to the Govee system and the receiving surface. Where permitted, we can use Govee’s adhesive along with mechanical clips or brackets to provide additional support and help keep the lights properly aligned.
4. We Manage Sections and Junctions Properly
When the selected system supports cutting and splicing, we work only at manufacturer-approved intervals. Waterproof connectors are used at permitted junctions, and the connections are checked before the installation is considered complete.
5. We Organize Power and Wiring
The location of drivers, controllers, and wiring can affect both appearance and accessibility. We choose practical positions and route cables neatly while following safe electrical practices and the requirements of the system.
6. We Commission the System
We test the installed sections, lighting modes, colors, brightness, connectivity, and app operation. Before wrapping up, we make sure the system is responding properly and explain the controls so you can use it confidently.
Comparing Govee Permanent Lighting Options
Choosing the right product is important because Govee systems do not all provide the same installation flexibility. The best fit depends on the property's layout, the desired lighting effects, and the features you actually plan to use.
Govee Pro
Supported Pro models can provide additional flexibility for custom layouts through approved cutting and waterproof splicing. Some versions also offer RGB lighting with warm and cool white capabilities.
Govee Elite and Other Options
Elite and other Govee permanent lighting models can suit homeowners who want smart exterior lighting with a different feature set. Their capabilities can vary in areas such as brightness, splicing, white-light options, and smart-home integration.
We match the installation method to the specific product rather than treating every Govee system as though it has identical requirements.
Permanent Light Installation in Orange, CA
Orange homes range from older properties with traditional architectural details to newer residences with cleaner, more contemporary rooflines. Permanent lighting can work across that range, but the installation needs to respond to the shape and character of the individual home.
A professionally installed Govee system can remain discreet during daylight while giving homeowners much more flexibility after sunset. You might use a soft white setting for a normal evening, create a themed display for a celebration, or switch to seasonal colors for a holiday. The lights stay where they were installed while the appearance changes through the controls.
Permanent lighting can also make exterior decorating less of a project. There is no need to haul out storage bins, position ladders around the house, or spend hours attaching temporary strands whenever a holiday comes around.
Foothill Pressure Washing provides permanent light installation in Orange with attention to roofline planning, mounting, connections, wiring, and product-specific requirements. We approach each property individually so the completed system looks intentional and functions as it should.
Why Choose Foothill for Permanent Lighting?
Property-Specific Design
We plan around the home's actual roofline and exterior instead of forcing every property into the same configuration.
Careful Mounting
We select suitable mounting techniques based on the surface and the requirements of the Govee product being installed.
Organized Wiring
We take care with cable routing and component placement so the installation does not create unnecessary visual clutter.
Respect for Product Requirements
We work within the specifications of the selected system when handling mounting, connections, spacing, and supported configurations.
Complete Testing
We check the finished system and provide an overview of the controls before the installation is handed over.
Ready to Leave the Ladder in Storage?
Permanent Govee lighting keeps the installation ready whenever you need it. Change the colors for a holiday, set a schedule for regular evening use, or create a custom scene for a gathering without taking the lights down afterward. Foothill Pressure Washing can plan and install a permanent lighting system around your Orange home's exterior.
